The boat was en route to Hannibal, Missouri. A mural is visible in the background decorating the stage area, along with a partial view of a drummer in the far right of the photo. Band members are wearing dark vests with light print dress shirts and ties, and Jean is in a light colored fringe dress with a single strap, smiling at the camera. Photo is dated to the 1980s, and is the first (left to right) in a series of framed photos Jean featured in her hallway, used in a photo elicitation interview conducted by SIUE fine arts librarian Therese Dickman and student Emily Warf in 2016.
