This collection contains the papers of Margaret A. Simons, Emerita Professor of Philosophical Studies at SIUE, founding editor of Hypatia, a scholarly feminist philosophy journal, and former co-director of the Society for Phenomenology and Existential Philosophy. Simons's research specialized in the philosophy of Simone de Beauvoir and she taught on the philosophy of race and racism, feminism, existentialism, and contemporary Continental philosophy.
