Joe Clark, a controversial former principal of New Jersey's Eastside High, visited Southern Illinois University Edwardsville on February 22, 1996. He gave a lecture titled "Education as a Mission" in Meridian Hall of the University Center at 7:30 pm. His visit was sponsored by the Edwardsville Intelligencer.
