Morris Dees, co-founder and chief trial counsel for the Southern Poverty Law Center, visited Southern Illinois University Edwardsville on January 22, 1998. He spoke in Meridian Hall at 7:30 pm. His visit was sponsored by Friends of Lovejoy Library and the Martin Luthern King Jr. Birthday Committee.
