Neil deGrasse Tyson, an astropsysicist and director of the Hayden Planetarium, visited Southern Illinois University Edwardsville on December 7, 2011. His visit was sponsored by the Shaw Memorial Fund, the SIUE Graduate School, the SIUE Physics Club, and the SIUE Math Club.
